Ms. Jorna and her team of students organize school events that foster school spirit, generate QHS pride and belonging within our student body.
Through this unique option class, selected students will discover their potential through leadership, and we aim to empower them as key members of our school community. To do so, with the guidance of their teacher, the students in the course would help plan, organize, and facilitate most community-based learning events such as: the Hema-Quebec Blood Drive, the QHS Mini-Leadership camp, Kid’s Christmas, etc. This being said, the invitation comes with the commitment to go above and beyond the call of duty, and to play a key role in a series of activities outside of school hours.
QHS' favorite go-to person for all things community-related! Mr. Sweeney takes care of many different programs and events at our school. If you are looking for a helping hand with a special project, Mr. Sweeney is the man. He is also the persona behind a lot of the social media that happens on Facebook and is a master at promoting our school. Every school should have a Mr. Sweeney behind the scenes!
